One can ponder why a person like DbsJeyaraj often overlooked among Tamil journalists considering their work involved in the Tamil or English media channels, by pro-Tamils. Many who were familiar with Dbsjeyaraj in the past know his involvement of RAW, India’s intelligence agency, during the IPKF days of Jaffna in late 80s, while he worked as a reporter for Hindu newspaper, which was nothing but a mouth-piece of Indian government. And it is all well-documented. What we do not know how far he kept his contacts with the RAW since then.
With the kind of background he has had in the past, his work often comes under scrutiny, especially from the pro-Tamils’ point of view. Because of the public scrutiny, he had trimmed down his criticism of LTTE or hardly any criticism at all, for the last decade in which time LTTE was a formidable force in SL. Ever since the military debacle of LTTE in May 2009, things had changed dramatically- so had Dbsjeyaraj’s stripes. Using the current circumstances- many people, even the pro-Tamils, are quiet sceptical of LTTE’s decisions during the peak of Wanni war in 2009 - DbsJeyaraj gradually paced his attacks against both LTTE and Tamil interests. What I cannot understand why a person like Jeyaraj who portrays himself a warrior in his articles has selective amnesia- undermining the LTTE only - while he never talks about the federal solutions, nor Tamil grievances. And the low point of his attacks comes in his latest article which stamps “Tamilnet” as a LTTE channel. So much as Tamils valued the Jaffna library, which was burned by Sinhala mobs in 1983 riots, Tamils should not lose Tamilnet that is a vital resource for them, and that should be protected at any cost against all the external powers. I do believe that most of his writings are anything but vague. And it is time for him to change his mentality of “if sabotaging LTTE endangers the Tamil interests, so be it”.

Guys, what you like to share here? Taking refuge on the sidelines is understandable as we hardly receive any refreshing news.
Its important to keep up with news such as 'Maaveerar Nall' 2010 and so on.
This year "Maveerar Nall" has provided something good that I cannot see what it is.

I like this "Palakani" that should have been long overdue from Tamilnet. And they should allow FB/Twitter users to share their links.

It's good that they have replaced a zombie voice with much more energetic one now.
When I listened to this speech yesterday, someone read the speech without any passion or spirit.
I think, there is one step for DbsJeyaraj from counter-insurgency writer to the Pro-Tamil slavery. He became quiet friendly with Gota, during the KP so called telephone interview. Interview feels like – defence.lk statement
DbsJeyaraj is a sick man
He hates Tamils

Sri Lanka Army rape and killed 7 Tamil women and one of them was a journalist Isaippiriya
New footage of an alleged massacre by Sri Lankan troops during the island's civil war has been broadcast by a British television channel, which says at least seven women may have been killed.
Channel 4 said the five-minute video showed the women's dead bodies in a muddy field. It was an extension of another video shown by the channel last year in which soldiers appeared to shoot two blindfolded men.
"The new video seems to show the same incident, but rather than stopping after the execution of a second bound man, it continues and the camera pans left revealing the naked and dead bodies," the channel said.
Channel 4 said the video had accompanying dialogue in the execution video in which Sri Lanka Army soldiers made "lewd and callous comments, which seems to strongly suggest that sexual assaults have taken place before the death of the 7 Tamil women "

Naked body of woman in Channel-4 video identified as Journalist Isaippiriya
[TamilNet, Wednesday, 01 December 2010, 12:53 GMT]
One of women victims, stripped naked, hands tied behind back, and shot dead, as seen in the recently released Channel-4 video has been identified as 27-year-old Shoba, with nom de plume Isaippiriya, who worked as media specialist with the LTTE, by the TamilNet Vanni correspondent who recently reached a free country in the West.“I am able to learn through those who have been at Mu'l'livaaykkaal in the final days of war, that Shoba remained unarmed and did not take part in combat," the Vanni correspondent told TamilNet, adding that Shoba lost her 6-month-old baby girl, named Akal, in the last stage of the war in Sri Lanka's indiscriminate bombardment on civilians. TamilNet refrains from publishing the cruel video, but instead publishes a video footage of Isaippiriya as a reporter from Oliveechchu video magazine.
