The following are photographs taken by reporters as they flew over the final war zone in Sri Lanka in a helicopter. No one has been allowed into this area since the final battle. There are reports that tens of thousands of wounded civilians were killed on the final three days of fighting. The Sri Lankan government has since cremated all bodies, and dumped the ashes into the sea.

«Oldest ‹Older 601 – 604 of 604 Newer› Newest»my only suggestion is if all these top tiger leaders surrendered enmasse along with their families, why they did not announce it in the media ?
if they had announced it officially, then they would not have been killed like this.
All in all, the Final Eelam war has ended in thud with all gains for last 40 years lost for tamils.
["my only suggestion is if all these top tiger leaders surrendered enmasse along with their families, why they did not announce it in the media?"]
1) They may have been captured (not planned).
2) Maybe they surrendered, but it wouldn't look good to say this after thousands have taken cyanide and died in similar situation.
3) Maybe family members were held hostage.
4) We may be wrong and they may have died in combat.
So many different possibilities, but all speculation.
I think we should use sites such as Digg ( www.digg.com ) to spread this message of SL barbarism. The world should know that a state that claims to be follow the great Buddha is nothing but a state similar to that of Germany when they killed a million jews. Looks like SL is not far behind, and looks like the word needs to spread and spread fast

But the only reality is that there is a systematic killing & arrest of tamils going on all over srilanka.
Tamils are directionless, clueless & hopeless in not knowing wat to do next.
